When creating an animated GIF, I can adjust the frame rate but not the output size.

Looks like the default settings are 500x358
When I produce, all my content is squished and want to know if

1.) There is a way to control the GIF size
2.) Best practice to creating one... such as changing my project size to 500x358?

Hi Kyle!

I'll admit that this screen is a little confusing. What you're seeing there are the dimensions of the last video you created. If you hit the Next button you'll see the option to create a custom size for your current production:

As always, producing a video that's the same size as your source content and canvas will give the best results in terms of clarity.

Thanks,

In Camtasia 8 the gif weighed about 500 KB, and right now the same gif in camtasia 9 weighs 20 MB. Why?
