When I capture multiple screenshots to PowerPoint with Snagit the Shapes all land on the same slide and are given names in the PowerPoint slide such as:

Snagit_PPT7CDD or Snagit_PPTB463

is there a way to have Snagit numerically name and increment the image so that in PowerPoint the multiple Shapes on the single slide would be give names like:

Snagit_PPT0001, Snagit_PPT0002, Snagit_PPT0003, etc.

thank you...JD

Hi,

Can you tell me a little more about what you mean when you say:
"multiple screenshots to PowerPoint with Snagit the Shapes all land on the same slide"

and
"in PowerPoint the multiple Shapes on the single slide"

I am not sure if you have created a shape in Snagit and are sending that over, or, you are filling a PPT shape with a Snagit capture.

A bit more information from you and I am sure we can help you out!

An example would be that I've recorded a movie of how to perform a task on my computer using Snagit.  Then, while playing back the movie i use keyboard shortcuts to capture screenshots of the movie into PowerPoint.

When I have finished the movie I open the PowerPoint and one slide has all of the screenshots stacked on top of each other.

It would be nice if the screenshots were named numerically rather than with random alphabetical characters.  When i capture to a file I can have the images named numerically but I don't seem to have that option when sending screenshots to PowerPoint.  thanks...JD
