When I do a capture, then save the image on a Mac, the file does not always appear in Mac finder

When I used to use Outlook, I could do a capture with Snagit, and then the capture would be saved to the clipboard, so it would only be a paste to put the image into an email. SUPER easy. Now that I am using Office365 for email, I can no longer paste an image into an email screen on Chrome or Safari, so I must go to the editor first, and then save the image to a PNG file first. Then I add the image into the email from disk.

For some reason lately, using Snagit ver 4.1.4, when I save the file to PNG, the file is often not showing in finder in my Pictures\Snagit\AutoCapture folder like it should. I have tried saving it again and again - no go. Then occasionally it DOES appear. Any idea why this is happening?

Hello Michael! I hope this helps sorry I did not have time for more screenshots!:
  1. Click the S in your top menu bar to open SnagIt Capture interface.
  2. Click the little plus sign to the right of Presets
  3. From the PopUp menu select New Preset

  4. Move the Slider to the right of Copy to Clipboard to the right. It will be bright blue.
  5. Click the green Save Preset  square button on the far right of the SnagIt Capture selection window.
  6. Name your new preset.
  7. Use your new preset to create a screenshot.
  8. Open Office365,  put your cursor in the email where you would like to paste your image, and ctrl V to paste.
