When Will TechSmith start truly supporting the Mac platform?

With so many users migrating to (or having always been users of) the Mac platform, it's quite unbelievable that TechSmith is not improving the features of the Camtasia for Mac application. It's not worth $100 in it's current form, because it lacks the eLearning content features of the Windows version. As a simple video editing tool, it's not that great. There are a LOT of applications for video editing, from free versions to others that are FAR more feature rich for the same price.

Port over the eLearning features (screen draw, keyboard input, lock to application, quizzes and such), and then it's worth $100. In it's current form, it's worth $40 or so at most.

Austin,

Thanks for the feedback.  Of the features you listed, the current version of Camtasia for Mac (v2.8) does have keyboard input.  The others are under consideration for future releases.

You mentioned eLearning.  It would help if you could describe the problems you're looking to solve.  Our current offering may or may not fit with your intended use.  But either way, it would help us to understand how you intend to use it.  Thanks for any additional information you can provide.
