I am reinstalling Camtasia 8.  I am trying to find the audio and video themes and other assets that were available for 8.  Where might they be located these days?

Also, are any of the assets in the Camtasia 9 libraries usable by 8?

THANKS!

You can download Camtasia 9 assets here.https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia-accessories.html?utm_source=product&utm_medium=cs&utm_cam...

Hi,

You can also check this article.

https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/227114127

Here is the content :

  1. f you still have Camtasia Studio 8 installed open it up, go to the library tab, right click and choose Export library.  This will create a .libzip file which you can then import into Camtasia 9 by clicking on File > Library > Import Zipped Library.
  2. Another option is to export just the individual project that contains those specific assets.  In Camtasia Studio 8 click on File > Export Project as Zip.  Then in Camtasia 9 choose File > Import Zipped Project.
  3. The third option is to download the the Camtasia Studio 8 .libzip file from here.  Once you download the libzip file you can then import into Camtasia 9 by clicking onFile > Library > Import Zipped Library.

For those of you who are still looking and cannot find anything, go to the wayback machine.  You can google it.  Search for this address www.techsmith.com/camtasia-library-media.html and go back to the year 2015. I looked at Feb 21 and the files are there for download.  I suggest right clicking and choosing "save target as" option.  This way you stay on the same page as it takes a while to load if you left click on the link and have to go back to the original page.
