How can I turn off text anti-alias in SnagIt 2018?  I frequently create software screen mock ups and need to match the existing text in the screenshot which has non-anti alias text.

Snagit is one of our favorite tools for creating and editing images in our work methods and other technical publications.  Being able to turn on/off anti-aliasing is a critically important feature in the version we currently use.   I'll have to advise our IT department not to upgrade our current installations (numbering many hundreds of seats) if this feature is not present.

Just one missing piece in a plethora of problems.  Like many companies, TechSmith has gotten too large to actually pay attention to the loyal customer base.  Changes for the sake of change, missing features, counter-intuitive interface, more picks and clicks for less reliable results...  Bring back the original team who cared about something great and undo the trendy new stuff.

Same as stompkins and burton.stephen.a it's essential that I be able to edit and develop UI screens WITHOUT anti-aliasing. Since there hasn't been an update to this thread in 11 months, I'm hoping TechSmith corrected the problem of not providing a way to turn anti-aliasing on/off. There are some great new features, but I'll have to downgrade until TechSmith fixed this. And, yeah, I'd call this a UX BUG!
