I'm looking for the best place to either download or purchase video background music similar to what comes with Camtasia Studio 8 -- with an intro, short, medium, and long version (or something close to that).  I'm on a PC.

Can anybody guide me in the right direction as to where the best places are to look for these types of things?

Camtasia Studio 8 comes with a lot of inspirational music, good piano music, acoustic music.  But I'm making videos as it relates to corrupt prosecutors and judges for my nonprofit organization, so I'm also looking for background music that is more macabre, more sinister, more nefarious.

Thank you for any guidance anybody can offer!

Have you tried AudioBlocks.com?

$99 per year for all you can download.

Aside from that, Google is your best friend.

Cheers... Rick :)

Thanks Rick!

I had not been to that website yet, but first glance, they surely have a lot of options.  I'm going to take a look through 'em now.  This is the type of thing I was looking for.

Thanks again!

There are a lot of FREE web sites for background music. Just do a web search.

Here's one example.
20+ Websites to Download Creative Commons Music For Free

I like Sound Cloud. I Typed in macabre and 156 tracks popped up. You will need to invest time to sort through all this stuff. But that's pretty much unavoidable regardless of where you search. There are a lot of talented and not so talented artists that make these tracks available. Some for recognition. Some want to be mentioned in the credits at the end of a video. I've never had any trouble finding free music.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply, Joe.

I did go to Sound Cloud (still have 19 other options on the link you provided) and good tracks did pop up -- some that are royalty-free and ready for usage.

Appreciate the guidance!
