I got an email with a link to customize my toolbar in Snagit,
https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-snagit-mac-4-customize-your-editing-toolbar.html?utm_source=trial...

In the instructions, it says to click on "More>Customize Toolbar"  ..... I don't see the "More" option.  Where is it??????

I have no idea where that is. However, to customize the toolbar, control-click or right click anywhere in the toolbar and you will get a popup menu where one of the choices is Customize.

I believe it's in the upper right area of the SnagIt Editor.

Cheers... Rick :)

On the mac, you can also select "Customize Toolbar..." from the View menu.

Tony, it looks like you're using an older version of Snagit. The ability to customize your menu is in Snagit 4. If you launch the editor and go to Snagit > About you should be able to see your version number there.

If you're not current, you can upgrade at a reduced price. You can also use the free trial of the upgrade to decide before you buy.

IT would have been nice to know that when I received your company's email with directions that didn't state the version needed.  I wouldn't have had to spend all this time asking for help with this.  Please, next time you folks send things like that to someone's email, state the versions that the tutorial is referencing.

Hi Tony,

You're right, we should only be sending those emails to users with compatible versions.

I pass this along to the email marking folks and we'll try to figure out what went awry here.

Sorry for the trouble,
Glenn

Yeah, sorry. I didn't realize until after I posted that you had just purchased it. I altered my post right away, but not fast enough I suppose.
