Hi people.

I want to create several video training courses but with so many different products I'd like your input on which one to use for this purpose? Camtasia vs Snagit vs ScreenCast vs Jing ? Other?

Video training for Excel courses, Google, Facebook, etc.

Does any of you happen to have like a benchmark on what are the advantages vs disadvantages of each one of those?

Please help me to make a wise decision before I purchase.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Regards!

Miguel

Miguel,

Real quick, Camtasia is a fully featured video editor, SnagIt is intended for stills and MP4 clips ready to share (no editing). Screencast.com is a platform that I use to share previews or internal department clips. Cannot comment on Jing.

I believe you're looking at Camtasia 8.

HTH, Tim

Jing can be used to create screen shots and short videos (5 minutes) - the good news if it will do the job for you - it is free to use.
