White haze over imported video's

So whenever I start a new project, when I import a videoclip and put it on the timelime it has a light white haze over it (changes the gamma I think) while it's not in the original video. Even when I export the video the white haze stays. I like using Camtasia but because of this I can't make new video's!

I already reinstalled camtasia but it did not work :(

Having purchased a very expensive video/gaming computer in order to use the hardware for accelerated video graphics processing, then having this problem, makes it a HUGE bummer to have to turn on Software-only rendering, FYI.

Please fix this problem.

I am in exactly the same position. Just bought an eye-wateringly expensive PC JUST FOR CAMTASIA and have to use it in software-only mode or imported video is grey and washed out.  Please fix this glitch now

I'm currently using the unreleased version of the Nvidia graphics card patch/repair/it fixed my computers issue.{:>)
I received it last Friday through tech support. Everything seems to be working correctly without any detected errors.
If you contact support, I would expect them to send you a link to the updated version as well.
