Hello,

To do this, you will need to:
  1. Upload your PDF to a folder in SC.com.
  2. On the page where your PDF lives, you will see a link that says "Download this media".
  3. Right-click on that link and copy the link to the clipboard. This is what you can use in your email so people can view or download the PDF.

Here is a sample link you can click to see what your viewer will see when they click a link like that.
https://content.screencast.com/users/kam110/folders/Test%20PDF/media/5f0de819-9492-433d-a459-575a2c6...

You can also shorten the link via bitly so it looks nicer, like this:

I hope this helps.

Sorry, hate to be a pest, but I cannot find the 'download the media' on SC. All links just take me to the web page page which says the content cannot be embedded. I want it to look just like your example, where the person simply clicks and a PDF dialogue opens. What am I doing wrong? I tried to change the thumbnail to an .JPG but that does not work. Thanks,

If you are determined to do it in ScreenCast, you might use Camtasia to record each page. Then add a hotspot to pause at each point so the page can be kept visible until the user is ready to move on.

You could also create a Table of Contents that would allow the user to go directly to the page they wanted.

Cheers... Rick :)
