Why change E-Mail address?

Hello,

why am I asked to change my E-Mail address in my Screencast account, otherwise I risk being locked out?

Marc,

At a later date we will be asking you to change your password. In order to make that change you will need to make sure you have access to the email address that your account is associated with. If you are unable to receive the email after we reset the password you won't be able to log in to your account.

As long as you can receive emails sent to the email address associated with your account you should be fine.

So I can close this red Note at he bottom of Screencast. Because, my E-Mail works fine.  :-)

But, it seems, that I must close this Note everytime, when I enter Screencast, right?

Yes, you can close the notification. The banner reappearing every time you enter Screencast is a known issue and we're working on a fix so it will remain closed even if you close your browser and return later.
