Why did TechSmith jack up my Camtasia 2019 price during the evaluation period?

What gives? I have Camtasia on a thirty day trial, just barely into evaluating it. Already Techsmith has raised the price! That's not a smarat way to build customer loyalty - or attract new customers.. Should I register for a new trial under an alias to get the original discout price?

Hi Larry,
Can you tell me a bit more about what is going on?
Where was the priced raised? Where did you see the original price?
Let me know, send a screenshot, etc.

Thanks for more info!

Theres currently a discount offered through TechSmiths website.

It expires on 9/20. Could this be what you're referring too?

So, there is a sale going on right now JUST for Camtasia.

This doesn't include the bundle purchase option seen above in the image. So, to get the best price for Snagit and Camtasia, which includes the sale price of Camtasia, it would be best to purchase Snagit and Camtasia separately in the cart, NOT VIA the bundle option.

This may seem confusing, but Camtasia by itself is the sale going right now.

I don't know if this is what Larry is referring to or not since he doesn't mention anything about a bundle or Snagit. We need to see if he comes back with more information.

What occurred with the ad seemed obvious to me. I only caught it because Ed pointed out the error.
It's an error in my opinion, the bundle should discounted as well. I'm no legal Eagle . I'm not even a legal Sparrow.{:>)
It seems like an inappropriately structured ad to me. I would think TechSmith would want to ensure this never occurs again.

Kelly, I would *really* send this over to the Camtasia Ad Manager, like Ed suggested above.

I would assume that TechSmith wants people to buy BOTH products, so why would they penalize someone buying in a bundle?
