Were the clips recorded with Camtasia or did you bring them in from elsewhere? If the clips were recorded as variable bit rate (search VBR) that's the typical reason for A/V going out of sync. Programs such as Handbrake can convert your clips to CBR (constant bit rate) rather easily.

Timbre4 has given a great suggestion. Let us know if you have tried this and it fixed your issue or not. Thanks for posting and have a great day/night.

I have been having the same issue with video recorded with Camtasia Recorder 2018. The audio delay is very small, but just enough to be noticeable and annoying to me. I tried all the solutions here (https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/audio-out-of-sync-in-2018-version) and none of them worked.

If you still feel it's noticeable, consider separating the audio & video onto separate tracks. (you may already have them as separate tracks, whatever) zoom up the timeline and nudge the audio slightly to see if this improves the match of the A/V.

Ya, I do that. I just don't think I should have to do that.

Okay. From using this program for years, I can safely say it it has not been necessary in my projects. The wildcard here is likely the source material you're running through it.

It wasn't an issue when I was recording last fall (September-December). The issue has only happened with my more recent recordings. The source material (screen recording + webcam video + microphone audio) hasn't changed.

I don't do anything with webcams, so that alone separates our experience. Given this context I recommend creating a trouble ticket if you have not already done so: https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
