Every now and then I get a popup on the right side of my screen verifying my screen capture. I have no way to capture it to show you because it disappears quickly. I have no idea why its there and have no use for such a verification.  Checked preferences and nothing there to check off to stop it either.

Hi Tony,

Snagit integrates with the Notification Center that's built into Mac OS. Those are the "toasters" you're seeing. You can disable them for Snagit (or any other program) by going to:

Apple Menu > System Preferences > Notifications

Select SnagitHelper2018 in the pane on the left, and then you can adjust the notifications for Snagit in the right-most pane.

It sounds like you want to either uncheck "Show in Notification Center" or pick "None"  for the "Alert Style" instead of the default "Banners."

Here's an animated gif to help:

Glenn, thank you, that works for me. I'm a former PC user, and Mac is totally foreign to me. I thought the preference. for notices from Snagit were on the Snagit side.

Thanks again!
