Have newest snagit, but every time i want to do batch convert, the previous settings i used are gone. No one from TechSmith wants to answer my emails or talk about this.

Hello Bob,

You're on Snagit 11 and it sounds like you've contacted support? I found this knowledge base article which seems to indicate this is not the desired behavior, but I don't have any update. http://techsmith.custhelp.com/app/ans...

I can see how a person might like to be able to save out "Batch Conversion Profiles", or something to that effect. Do you find yourself always using the same set up though? Would remembering the last suit your needs?

Sincerely,
Mike Curtis

Mike: I always save the same photo sizes in usually the same directory and the same type (jpg). Just remembering the last would suit my needs fine. I had an older version of snagit and it used to remember, but one day i upgraded and the new one didnt. I read Tiffanies post about version 11 fixing these problems but it didnt.
This doesnt sound like a biggee to fix just saving a few settings. If you wanted to make everyone happy, put in a check box to "remember settings"

This post is 10 months old, but thought I'd bump it since batch image processing can save a ton of time. I'd like to be able to save the profiles so I can just select the files, right-click and choose SnagIt Batch, then pick from a list of processes that I'd like to apply. It would be even cooler if you could select multiple processes and their order, since that's often what's required.

Can / should this be moved somewhere so it can be a feature request?

I would definitely use saved batch conversion settings! Eric Salerno (above) describes a nice workflow for using them. I'd also like to have recent "save to" folders available in the drop-down menu rather than just the SnagIt folder.

Hi, Good ideas. I changed this from a question to a feature request (idea) so we can track it better.
Sincerely,
