Why is the Region profile listed under the Basic capture profiles (from version 9) in Snagit 10?

When this profile is chosen it behaves in exactly the same way as the All-in-One Snagit 10 profile. It would be helpful if this Region (from version 9) profile would work like the Region profile does in Snagit 9 where the x and y coordinates display when performing a capture. Thanks..

The Region input was made the same as the All-in-One input to help people make the transition to the new (and we like to think, improved) capture input.

Once you begin to select a region, the current dimensions of the selected region are shown in the magnifier:

Am I correct in thinking that what you want is the x and y coordinates of location of the selection crosshairs on the screen instead of the dimensions of the current selection?

Dan, thanks for your reply. You are correct, for some captures I miss having the x and y coordinates display on the capture window. I'll just use Snagit 9 when I need this, although it would be convenient to be able to choose a profile in Snagit 10 that works like the Region profile does in Snagit 9. Thanks.

Sorry, the new v.10 region is a fail. It's waaaaay too busy. I'd like the v.9 region back, please!
