Hi Tim,

As far as I know, there are no plans to add AICC. We do fully support SCORM, however, so I'm wondering: why do you prefer AICC compliance?

Regards,

Aaron

We are installing a new LMS at my company. This LMS sits on a cloud server that is external to our systems and requires certain access in order to work through my company's network firewall security. In order for SCORM to work with the new LMS and get through our security firewall, special setup is required on our part, which will take time.

Although AICC is older technology and does not provide as much data, it does not require any special security setup on our part. I set up an AICC course in our new LMS and as soon as the course is passed, credit status is sent to the LMS.

We use Camtasia Studio along with Adobe Captivate as primary e-learning authoring tools. Captivate is AICC, SCORM and TinCan capable. It would be nice if Camtasia Studio could output an AICC package.

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure how much push I can get around here for AICC in the product, but I'll try!

I did some more research, and we do have a partnership with Lectora Inspire (when you buy that, you also get Camtasia), who can publish with AICC compliance. You get a LOT more, too (which, unfortunately, is reflected in their price tag :/ ...) but I'm including this in case you want to check it out. ref: http://lectora.com/e-learning-software/

In the meantime, I'll make sure this feature request gets a few +1's.

Regards,

Aaron
