Windows Media Feature Pack, Video Capture, and Snagit 13

Hello TechSmith Community!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem, since I haven't had any success trying to fix it on my own. Whenever I try to use video capture on Snagit, this message pops up.

I've downloaded the Windows Media Feature Packs from the following two links, but the message still keeps popping up: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...

The forum posts I've seen all refer to Snagit 12.4.1, so I was wondering if something different needs to be done for Snagit 13. If there's any more information needed, I'd be happy to supply it, but for now I'm not sure what else to do. Thank you so much for the help!

You may need a different  64bit version.

Hi folks, I am posting a quick update for anyone else who searched for this topic: The latest Windows 10 update to Version 1703 (April 2017) again broke the functionality of Snagit for video recording with the same error message.
