With version 2018 Snagit for Mac the computer is blocked to the point that it must be restarted after a capture

After a screenshot pressing CTRL + 0 and select the image in question. If in your application I select a part of the image again and select "copy"; the computer crashes to the point that it does not work at all and sometimes black screen of Mac of serious error
The version of Snagit 2018 is Version 2018.0.2 (90418) and that of Mac Hihg Sierra Version 10.13.2 (17C88)

This incidence occurs continuously carrying out this process.

I would appreciate an urgent solution to this matter because it is exasperating

Hi,

I would open a ticket with our Tech Support team. They'll be able to look at the crash logs and figure out what might be causing this.

I'd second that... if you are crashing, we want to see your crash logs so we can diagnose and correct the problem.  Crashes are never acceptable. Sometimes its difficult for us to reproduce and fix a problem, but crash logs usually help a lot.

Hi,

Sure thing! In your Applications folder there's a folder called Utilities. Inside there is an app called Console. Launch that app and select User Reports in the sidebar. Then you'll want to look for the most recent crashes with "Snagit 2018" in the title. You can send them to me at l.griffioen@techsmith.com

Thanks for the information, I've passed it along to the development team.

Since it appears that this is an issue related to taking screenshots of parallels, one thing you could do is use our windows version for taking screenshots of the windows environment. Your Snagit license allows you to install on 1 mac and 1 windows machine.

Normally I use the Mac version because I use several machines at the same time, I will install it in a single PC as my license allows until you find a solution.
I would appreciate if you would let me know when you have it resolved.
