In SnagIt, if I capture two snags and want to merge them into one frame, I expand the first and drag the second onto it. But, with the second one on the same screen as the first, I cannot highlight, draw arrows or lines onto the second one. I have to do any of those somewhere off the second one and drag it onto the second one. Or I could make the changes I want on the second one before I drag it onto the first one's screen. Will there be a time when you can do this kind of work directly onto a snag you dragged it onto another snag?

Can't you flatten the dragged image, and then add your highlights, arrows and lines?

Hi Jim,

Randy is right, you can right-click on the image that you dragged and choose "Flatten". Additionally, a little trick is to hold down the "Alt" key while using the drawing tools and Snagit will allow you to draw over top of a non-flattened object on your capture.

Thanks,

Jason
