Would be helpful if quiz reports included partial records of user views when quiz answers NOT submitted

I use Camtasia Studio 8's quiz feature not only to test the competency of my university students but to also track their viewing of the lecture material.  I have had students complain in the past that they watched a video and either the quiz never materialized at the end or something went haywire and the video hung up upon submitting their answers and no quiz report record was made of their attempt.

I've experienced this issue with videos hosted on Screencast.com and on my own web server.

My understanding is that a database record is created upon viewers are entering their details at the start of a video with quizzes that are setup for reporting.  I am guessing that those records are deleted if a viewer stops watching before they get to the embedded quiz or for some reason the quiz is not fully submitted to Techsmith's server.

For me there would be great value in receiving those partial records as I give my students participation marks for viewing each lecture and attempting the embedded quiz.  It is a shame that sometimes they are not permitted to completely submit their answers and there is then no record of their viewing the material.  At present they are re-watching lectures because of this and that extra time and effort goes directly against many of the benefits of online learning.  Please consider the reporting of partial records as an option to users such as myself who use quiz reporting to track/confirm viewing of material.
